As I assume the role of Managing Partner of Kent Industries, I do so with a clear sense of purpose: to build upon the legacy created by my father while driving the organisation forward with focus, discipline, and ambition.

Kent Industries today is built on deep domestic trust, supported by a robust supply chain and a portfolio of three established brands- Kent, NEX-the fashion switch and CENTO. This structure allows us to address diverse customer segments—from value-driven households to premium, performance-focused applications—while maintaining clarity in positioning and consistency in delivery. Our segmentation strategy ensures relevance across markets and delivering my father’s vision- “Right Quality at Right Price”. We strictly adhere to BIS and BEE standards, ensuring that every Kent product is engineered for Indian conditions, energy-efficient, safe, and aligned with globally accepted benchmarks.

My understanding of the electrical industry strengthened substantially during the years we operated manufacturing facilities in Roorkee and Valsad. Those experiences provided first-hand exposure to the complexities of production, quality consistency, and the engineering discipline required to manufacture safe and reliable electrical products. They also reinforced our belief that manufacturing excellence cannot be outsourced—it must be owned and controlled.

Guided by this conviction, we made a strategic decision to consolidate all manufacturing operations in Alwar, Rajasthan. This move has given us complete operational visibility and tighter control over product quality, processes, and execution. Today, all key functions—from production to quality assurance—operate from a single, integrated location. The Alwar facility is a world-class manufacturing unit, designed with significant scope for capacity expansion and future growth. We remain deeply committed to continuously upgrading this facility—technologically, operationally, and in terms of automation—to meet and exceed global manufacturing benchmarks. Consolidation has not only improved efficiency but has strengthened our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality products at scale.
